Creighton & Emily Anniversary | Coffee Shop Session | Greenville SC Photography

Creighton and Emily are approaching their 10-year wedding anniversary. As they started planning a trip to commemorate the occasion, they realized that their wedding was the last time they had gotten pictures taken together as a couple. 

If you’re a little camera shy, swapping your phone selfies and getting in front of someone else’s lens can feel a little daunting. You might hear yourself saying “it’s just me, is it worth an entire session with a photographer?” and let me tell you, the answer is absolutely yes! You don’t have to be a rosy cheeked cherub of a baby to warrant getting your picture taken. You are beautiful and so is your family. 

A shared cup of coffee is one of the daily rituals Creighton and Emily treasure. While they have an espresso maker at home, we decided to visit a local coffee shop to commemorate the life they’ve built in Greenville together over the past decade. We visited Other Lands on Rutherford Road and snapped a few pictures while Creighton and Emily sipped, chatted and generally basked in the glow of each other’s company (and the Christmas lights!). The results were a warm, intimate portrait of two people who clearly love doing life together. Cheers to the next ten years, y’all!
